Logitech MX 3200Strengths: Very quite keyboard, included software easy to setup and has some pretty good options, uses a usb key. Weakness: Haven't found any so far. I love this desktop set. I have always liked the feel of a notebook keyboard and this one comes very close to it. Also the usb key is very big plus because it makes it so easy to swap at least the mouse between my desktop and notebook computers. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Logitech MX 3200 Keyb/Mous ComboStrengths: Soft touch/stroke to keys, Anti-Microbial technology, Quiet, Many programmable buttons and functions, Designed for Vista, Receiver can connect some other Logitch mice if preferred instead of MX 600 Weakness: No display backlight, Zoom on keyb. is too sensative, weight, No char count reset, No num/caps/scroll lock indicators, Not P/S2 compatible One of the best keyboards I have used. The stroke feels very natural without too much strain on the wrist. It's many buttons and scroll bar on the keyboard make it great for multitasking and video games. The LCD includes a clock w/ date, character count (Logitch claims only reset by replacing batteries), timer, and alarm clock. I replaced the mouse with my MediaPlay mouse and it works great. The keyboard is also secured to the receiver using Logitech's software so keystrokes are not picked up by voyeurs. Unused keys like 'insert' and 'num lock' can be disabled. It's the most comfortable keyboard I've ever used. Its response is fast and range is far. Aim the receiver toward the keyboard and mouse for best reception. Does not need software for basic functions. Works under Linux. I recommend uberOptions to further your customizing of features. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Nice but not greatStrengths: Soft keys, lots of extra features on both keyboard and mouse, rubber grid, no interference with other equipment Weakness: Keyb too flat, no click on keys, keys are marked with stickers, function keys too small, no CapsLock/NumLock leds, mouse not for games, only USB (will not work with KVM unless you have USB port on it) For $60 it is a good buy. Soft keys are great but they lack any click. Keyboard is too flat (even using the height adjustments). Keys are marked with stickers which I suppose will rub off with heavy usage. Function keys (especially ESC key) are way to small and you have no leds for CAPSLock/NumLock (which is really annoying). Lots of additional buttons which can be set to perform various operations but they are even smaller than the function keys. The rubber palm rest of the keyboard is great. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Very nice, but keys a bit softStrengths: lots of buttons light nice construction overall Weakness: software can be flaky keys a bit mushy I got this as a replacement for an MX3000. I like the 3000 better, on the whole. The new keys are little softer, making it harder for me to touch type. In fairness, my wife likes it better this way. Also, the software is a little sensitive to other usb HID device -- it hates my Belkin UPS. Also, it doesn't have a charger, so make sure you have AA batteries and a charger. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Jan 6, 2007 I have had many logitech items and have been very satisfied...what I don't understand ...why would you need to use your keyboard 8 feet away

MX 3200 Laser DesktopStrengths: Easy to set up; keyboard has a nice feel and is very quiet when typing; laser mouse fits my hand well and is easy to use. Weakness: Lettering on the keys is not a bright as my Microsoft keyboard and is therefore harder to see in dim light. The volume and function keys are a bit small. Overall a good combination and easy to set up. The feel of the keyboard is very nice, solid and quiet. I would prefer larger function keys and larger volume keys since I use those a lot for my applications...one thing my Microsoft Elite keyboard has over this one. The scroll wheel on the Logitech mouse is a bit rough (by design) compared to my old Microsoft optical mouse; that scroll wheel was very smooth. 100% of readers found this review helpful. MX3200 keyboard - four stars but with reservationsStrengths: Decent layout. Customizable hotkeys. Included mouse is programmable and very nice. Weakness: Zoom feature location & cannot be turned off. Software automatically loads a number of background applications. I bought this keyboard to replace a Logitech DiNovo. I like the feel of the keys, not annoyingly "clicky" like other desktop keyboards, but they do lack that slight "click" at the end of the key travel (that the DiNovo had) which lets you know that the keyhas been pressed hard enough to enter a character. 93% of readers found this review helpful. Good value for moneyStrengths: High-quality wireless keyboard and laser mouse at a reasonable price Decent range on keyboard (I use it from 6-8 feet away) Weakness: Customisation software is not yet available for Windows Vista (as of December 2006) Some keystrokes would be dropped when I typed from over 8 feet away, moving the receiver a little bit solved this Overall, this is a very reasonably priced keyboard-and-mouse set, and is of Logitech's usually high build quality. The mouse is laser, which is better than optical. 60% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Not worth the money.Strengths: Quiet keyboard. Mostly plug-and-play. Works with Vista Home Premium (32-bit). Easy to set up mouse button mappings. Mouse is ergonomic. Weakness: Changed key layout. Mouse is 2-button. Don't see much of a difference between a regular optical mouse (I own a Microsoft travel mouse optical) and the laser mouse. The function keys are smaller than the function keys on 50% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

I wouldn’t call this a great keyboard!Strengths: Easy to install, very good driver support @ website, nice looking mouse, comes with a single USB Hub extension (may be great for flash drives). Weakness: The Keyboard looks plasticy & gimmicky. Not exactly the “High-Techno” quality-build look I was hoping for. The board is Very Dark & hard to read. The Zoom feature would be nice if it worked all the time… meaning that by the time you mouse into the picture gallery and find your photos it’s faster and simpler to keep using the mouse wheel to zoom (Vista’s OEM picture support is excellent on its own), furthermore as commented earlier, the little buttons are dark and hard to read making it more of a “let’s see what this one does” experience. The mouse buttons & zoom feature in my opinion are a disaster… I don’t like to have to pick up and look at the mouse to figure out which feature button does what!!! 50% of readers found this review helpful. Great Mouse; Lousy KeyboardStrengths: Mouse works well and very comfortable. Weakness: Keyboard is mushy. Keys often repeat even when pressed once. Individual keys sometimes fail to respond at all. The mouse in this combo package has lived up to all expectations. The keyboard is a different story with mushy response and keys that fail to work at times or that enter multiple characters with a single strike. As I was typing this, the Delete key failed to respond while arrow keys and Backspace worked fine. If this had been my first experience with a Logitech keyboard, it would be my last. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Logitech Cordless DesktopStrengths: Easy Setup Weakness: Receiver did not work in USB Hub I've owned this item since Christmas but just got it setup. My old mouse just died. Instructions were simple to follow and everything worked fine once I put the receiver directly into the PC. Keyboard has a nice feel as does the mouse. Would buy again. Logitsc MX3000Strengths: My family loves it. We especially like the handy volume control at the top. Being wireless is always an advantage...unless money is the bottom line, which is understandable for some. Weakness: Letters/Numbers rub off the keys with use. (Does this happen to all keyboards?) I think our family has been very pleased with this keyboard. We would buy it again ... but usually we buy an upgrade. I don't know why since these "older" models do just great. (I don't need a keyboard that "feeds me breakfast." Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Good Keyboard. I enjoy it. Good Buy.Strengths: Soft touch keys are nice, they're quiet. I like how the "CTRL" function of the keys is marked with their Microsoft Word functions. VERY easy to set up. The highlight and search key on the mouse is ver Weakness: The dynamic search and zoom buttons on the left are small and lend themselves to getting bumped. I don't think I've ever actually used them. Over all it's a great keyboard, all my "problems" are very minor and don't lessen my satisfaction. The set up was super easy, just plug and play. I'd prefer to delete the built-in hand rest off the bottom of the keyboard and just use my own. The built in one is too small and shows oil off your hands. Although, I didn't think it would be, the date and time at the top of the keyboard are nice. I use them more than I thought I would. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Logitech MX3200Strengths: Quiet & Soft keys, super smooth mouse Weakness: Hard to see letters in dim light, dynamic zoom gets in the way Got this to replace the cordless keyboard and mouse that came with my Gateway. Went through 2 mouses in two years with that set so I decided it was time to get something else. I am confident this mouse will not go out in one year. This laser mouse is sooo smooth compared to my last one. Overall, a much better set than the one that came with the computer. My biggest complaint is that I like to rest my left hand to the side just off from the keys and that sets off the dynamic zoom. Unless I am looking at a picture or a document, it doesn't present an immediate problem. It just makes a noise to let you know you are trying to zoom (noise is a little annoying). So far, I am pleasantly pleased!!! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Pretty good keyboard and mouse setStrengths: The Mouse is great. Love the feel and zoom feature. Weakness: Keyboard does not offer much different. This is a very nice keyboard and mouse set. The mouse has a great feel and has some useful extras. The keyboard is OK. It is compatitble with Windows Vista, so I have not used it to its fullest yet. However, it is worth the money and much better than the included keyboard and mouse with the PC. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Logitech MX3200 CORDLESS LASER DESKTOPStrengths: Easy to use, good quality Weakness: Price Just connect the USB adaptor to USB port of my Toshiba notebook, it works well without any setting. Good quality and sense of touch for both keyboard and laser mouse. Besides, the tiny receiver is a plus. I recommend this product. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Nov 15, 2007 good keyboard and mouse. but there is a problem that i am having with it and thats why i will try to ship it back. the drivers of logitech are in conflict with my audio drivers and so ihave to choose between my sound or cool extra features of keyboard. abviously no one will like the sound to go off so i will probably return it. also i wanted the mouse for gaming. but this is not at all a gaming mouse. its nice but not a gaming grade so who so ever wants to buy for the normal purpose get it but gamers dont buy it. get a corded usb mouse.

Jan 20, 2008 i also had the problem with my sound, after i installd my logitech i had no sound, i tryd a few things and got them both to work, if i remember correctly , you uninstall the realtek and sound drivers(reset your pc) then you install logitech drivers (then reset your pc) then install your sound drivers (reset once again) then wala! all works great! =]

Great Core mouse, mediocre keyboard
Strengths: Mouse; very well fit in hand. Keyboard; lots useful function keys. Lcd timer is very good!!, Very smooth keys. Thin.
Weakness: Mouse; heavier than lx7 Keyboard; Function keys are small. No light indicator for cap/num. lock.
Mouse is heavier thanlx7, but, overaqll is excellent, fit in hand to easy move - it is nearly the same as the MX600 laser mouse I used previously, except that it does not have the e-mail and instant messaging buttons that were on the MX600. It has also has a darker tone.
Function keys of keyboard are small. No light indicator for cap/num. lock.
But overall, the keyboard is great. The extra features are, once again, nice to have, though the dynamic search and zoom on the left side is very easy to activate. It is somewhat annoying to have my text zoom to 400% when I merely brush my sleeve across my keyboard. To solve this, I ended up uninstalling SetPoint. Less drivers, less headache. Nyways, who needs all those buttons? They are nice to have and use, but I believe that most people will end up forgetting about them after the first few days of excitement. The glossy black trim along the top, bottom, and left side are very attractive, and while they are fingerprint magnets, I never touch those areas much, so they stay pretty. (My sleeve also helps polish the glossly black finish on the dynamic search and zoom, so I never need to worry about that side).
All in all, a great keyboard, even though I just noticed that the volume down image is slightly off-printed on my keyboard. No biggie. Thanks Amazon Reviews, for helping me find all the previously unnoticed imperfections in my products.
Highly recommended.
