Nintendo DS Lite Crimson & Black, redesigned from...

Strengths: Lighter, games for all genders, good battery life.

Weakness: Screen is small compare to PSP, games are not as 3D as PSP, no TV out.

The redesigned DS lite is really lighter than the original DS, by a lot. I don't feel hurt even after playing for hours. Also thanks to the long battery life, I can enjoy the games uninterrupted. High quality screen with 4 levels of brightness adjustment. Excellent for both indoor and outdoor usage. Comparing with PSP, the DS lite misses the TV out, which is sometimes useful if you want to share the view with friends. Also the games are not as 3D professional looking as PSP offers.

Nintendo DS Lite

Strengths: Great color - different - the distinction in color definitely helps when you have more than one DS in the home. Stylish flair for the business traveler.

Weakness: none

I would definitely purchase this item again. I would recommend a protective cover for carrying and protection of system and extra games. Good resolution and sound. Good battery life. Be careful....it is a bit addictive.

Crimson and Black Nintendo DS Lite

Strengths: Bright Screen, small, long battery life, great color.

Weakness: Lack of internet browser.

The Crimson and Black Nintendo DS is a very nice portable. The color is great, stylish and will appeal to both sexes.

The new lite form factor is lighter, smaller, and has brighter screens than the original system. It is very comfortable to hold, and has many great games available.

This system is great not only for the average gamer but also for people who are new to games. The touchscreen is a great input device and many games take excellent advantage of it. Hardcore gamers also have many games to choose from.

The only cons I would give this system is the lack of an internet browser since that would make the handheld perfect. Yet, this can be purchased separately.

Nintendo DS Lite - Crimsong/Black

Strengths: Touch screen, Small size, Fun game library, Wi-fi, Battery life

Weakness: Screen is smaller then PSP, Graphics

First I would like to say that I use this system for the brain age, puzzle type of games. I also own a PSP and I use that system for the more advanced games. That said, I am very impressed with the DS and would definitely purchase it again. The dual touch screen is a nice feature and the large game library keeps my attention all the time. The graphics are a little cartoony, but I think it's a nice touch that makes the games interesting, fun, and innovative. I recommend this system to all ages. Must have, especially for games such as brain age.

Great gaming system

Strengths: Play with friends, Great looks

Weakness: Graphics are not especially great

Purchased to play with my wife. We love to challenge each other on these systems so it's fun.

The graphics are not great but we mostly play puzzle games so it didn't matter much to us.

The new crimson color is great!

Beautiful and Lite Nintendo DS .

Strengths: The best portable game console.

Weakness: None

My 8 years old son likes it so much. It is lite and portable game system. It has two screens, the bottom screen is special because you can touch it to select things and use the stylus to write. It gets about six hours of battery. The screens are very clear, and deliver beautifully in its display. The graphics are great and clear. We can adjust screen brightness. We can play several games that use the microphone, like Brain Age. I love this system a whole lot, and if you have the desire to own a video game system, I definitely recommend this one for everyone.

Great little gaming system

Strengths: Fun, portable, love the Crimson colr

Weakness: Graphics are getting a little dated on this system, the black kind of feels cheap compared to the crimson

I really like the crimson finish on this - but the black on the inside and bottom just seem like standard cheap black plastic.

Stylus & touchpad make some games very intuitive.

Comes with some neat chat software out of the box.

Overall, with the right games very fun little system.

DS Lite Game System - Crimson/Black

Strengths: Easy to use

Weakness: Game was freeze at half way...

This was our first DS Lite game system Purchase at Cosco and using for couple weeks. This is a game system with a lot of fun.Two weeks later. The game we play with was starting to freeze during half way and we have to starting over the game without saving, so we end up return this unit and purchase the Gold DS lite. Not quite sure if there is anything wrong with the game sysytem or the game itself..

A Nintendo DS is an excellent portable game play unit. This unit is real easy to manage but for children who want to play may require some assistance. I would definitely recommend this to another customer

DS lite is an excellent gaming device

Strengths: Solid build quality, touch screen, a lot of game to choose from.

Weakness: Small screens, most of the games are for kids under 18.

This version of DS lite is built with very cool color. Easy to use control. No scratch on the touch screen, and the screen brightness is adjustable. Highly recommended. However, most of the games are not for people older than 18, they are all pretty much cartoon-ish. PSP games are definitely orientated towards more grown up kids.
