Worse ComputerStrengths: SIZE Weakness: SOUND CRASHES I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANY ACER COMPUTERS THIS IS THE WORSE COMPUTER I HAVE EVER OWNED. I HAVE HAD TO SEND IT BACK 5X ALREADY, THE SOUND MAKES THE COMPUTER CRASH, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT GOOD.I ASKED TO HAVE THE COMPUTER REPLACED AND I WAS TOLD WE DON'T REPLACE COMPUTERS. BECAUSE OF ALL THE PROBLEMS i HAVE LOST COUNTLESS DOCUMENTS AND APPLICATIONS AND THIS ACER STILL DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. 80% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Acer netbooks for home, office and travelStrengths: size, speed w/XP Weakness: small size but cannot have it both ways We bought three Acers one year ago. we love them. I just bought a fourth one for my daughter. We solved the size problem at home by attaching emachines consoles to the two netbooks we use at home. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Acer Aspire One D250 (Atom N270 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, XP Home, red)
THE GOOD: Rock-bottom price; slimmer size; improved touch pad buttons. THE BAD: Weak speakers; battery life mediocre; small keyboard. THE BOTTOM LINE: For the price, its hard to find fault with Acers even cheaper version of the 10.1-inch Aspire One, as long as youre not expecting top-of-the-line features. Top

Acer Aspire One
Strengths: Adequate RAM, disk space, pre-loaded software
Weakness: Not high enough screen resolution
Good for vacations traveling. MS Works with ads adequate for vacations purposes. Good wireless internet capability. Maximum screen resolution, 1024*600 pixels, is too low for some applications, e.g., google earth.
