Great food, Great price, kittens love it!I just got this food for my four 6-week-old kittens that i am fostering. They LOVE it! When I first got these kittens, they were STARVING! They gobbled this stuff up. They love it, and I love the price! Never feed a kitten wet food unless it has teeth problems. Wet food doesn't agree with their systems, and often they get diarrhea. So good they tore the bag openMy two kittens 9months and 6 months love this food! They love it so much they broke into a bag one night when my boyfriend and I were sleeping!! More importantly it is healthy and doesn't give my youngest breath issues. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

works great!We use purina kitten chow, along with other purina adult and senior cat chows on our rescue cats and kittens that come and pass through our home. They love it, everytime we shake the bag they come running from all over to eat. Their coats are soft and shiny and they're very active and playful cats and kittens. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone that has a kitten, we've never had a problem with any of the kittens or cats eating purina products, . Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Cats just like itI have had 5 kittens over 3 decades and they all loved Kitten Chow. The vet never complained about them having a weight problem or needing extra vitamins. I didn't even have to mix Kitten Chow with Cat Chow when it was time to switch. It is just good. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Please search for better quality ingredients!I bought this as the first bag of kitten food when i got my kitten a few weeks ago because it was what he was eating before I got him. Although he liked it and was healthy, after doing some research I realized that it is not that great for him, as the first ingredient is by-product meal. It also has fillers that are not great for kittens. I decided to switch him to Royal Canin Babycat and he loves it! Not only are the bites a bit smaller and easier to eat, the ingredients are far superior to Kitten Chow. It is quite a bit more expensive, but he eats much less as he is now getting proper nutrition. Also, one added benefit for me is that the litterbox odor has been drastically reduced. This is also due to higher quality ingredients. Once he is older, I plan to upgrade him to an even more top notch food, Wellness Kitten. This contains no corn, by-products, fillers, or any kind of unnatural ingredients. Please, do some research, and if you must get grocery store brand food, then at least search for one that has chicken or meat listed as the first ingredient, not a by-product. BEST PURCHASE EVERI have a 8 week old kitten named Sparkle she is very picky with food .Her coat was unkept.I tried this food it took a while for coat to be shiny,Now her coat is sparkly and her eyes are clear and she is very healthy.And good for sensitive stomachs.All this for a cheap you should definetely purchase this item. Dependable NutritionFound two kittens that were hungry and greasy (living in an engine compartment). I immediately started feeding them Purina Kitten chow and they've bloomed. Their coats shine, they're playing, eyes are clear, and good bowel movements! A real transformation for the little guys. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Purina Kitten ChowAlthough my cat's not a kitten (10yrs). Her 8th yr. every brand & version of dry cat food has had her vomiting. Then I tried Kitten Chow. All I know It works for her, she has only vomited a few times in 2 yrs. She's a finicky eater in the first place, for good reason I see. The BEST!!!This is absolutely the best kitten food. My Prince loves this food so much, he can eat it all day long! It is much better than the Iams which has a horrible smell to it. The perfect food for kittens!This is the only food we've ever bought for our three kittens and they love it. They are happy, healthy, and energetic. They are just about a year old now so we started mixing Purina Cat Chow Indoor Formula with the Kitten Chow to get them used to it and they seem to be liking the Cat Chow just as much. My cat like it!I got my cat when he was about 8 month old. He was fed with adult cat food and had fresh blood clots in his excrements. I made some research and found that it could be from food. His FavoriteSince Purina Kitten Chow is less expensive then other brands, I decided to give my baby Lucky Kitten Chow. Wow he loves it. His vet said he was in good health and has some beautiful teeth. It is the best and it's the only kind of food Lucky eats so I'm stickin' with Kitten Chow till he is full grown then I am trying more of the Purina Chow Brands. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? bad choicei have just adopted a small 12 week old kitten that i have named moses. well thinking it was the best kitten fod, i baught moses a bag of purina kitten chow, that was a bad choice on my part. that night after eating a small amount the kitten woke me up throwing up on my bed and meowing, he also got sick again the next day. after that no matter what i did he would not eat the kitten chow. because of this i had to give moses a can of chicken dinner by friskies untill i found another hard kitten food. I would not recommend this product for a picky eater. He hated the taste and it wasnt easy on his stomach. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great Kitten FoodMy kitten Zoey LOVES the Purina kitten chow dry food. She gets so excited when I get ready to feed her. I'll eventually use the Purina cat chow dry food indoor formula when she turns one in a couple of months because of her response from this product. Its also a great price so it's a win win situation. The best food for kittens.I have tried a bunch of other kitten foods but nothing was as good as this. My kitten loves this food. She eats it in like an instant, and it doesn't smell bad like other kitten foods I bought. I have to admit, my kitty is healthy, happy, energized, and her coat is beautiful, soft, and shiny. The BestThis is the best cat food I have been able to find at an affordable price. A friend told me about Purina and how well it nurished her cat. I have a kitten so I tried this formula. Buy it!I just adopted 2 kittens named Tiger and Taffy from a place in Appleton. I came to PETCO in search of the perfect kitten food that would suit two 5 week old rambunctious kittens, which chase each ohter around the house daily.
