Step 2 Lifestyle Custom KitchenStrengths: Absolute best buy for compact toy kitchen. Gender-neutral, attractive colors. Great size/price for families. Contains all necessary realistic features--even the microwave! Ideal for 1-2 'cooks'. Weakness: Only minor problems/deficiencies; see comments for details. ASSEMBLY: The burner hole's too deep. When we followed instructions & screwed the burner base to the counter, there was too big a gap between burner base & top. Thus, the batteries fell out, so the boiling/frying sounds didn't work. AdorableStrengths: very cute life-like kitchen, fairly easy to assemble, great product for the price Weakness: lack of pre-drilled holes make electric screwdriver a must, appliances a little too small for some accessories I got this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. She loved it so much she couldn't even wait for us to finish assembling it to start playing with it. She was taking things in and out of the drawers and refrigerator as her daddy and I tried frantically to put the screws in. Awesome KitchenStrengths: Easy to assemble. Fits a lot into a small space. My son and daughter can both play with it at the SAME time and not hurt each other. Weakness: Separate appliances allow for a different kind of play - this forces the play to be confined and attached. But, when you don't have a ton of room it has all the bells and whistles you would want. This kitchen is awesome. It is reasonable in price, reasonable in space, excessive in noises and fun things for the kids to explore and find on their own. My 2 year old and 1 year old share nicely because there is so much to do with the kitchen.

Custom Kitchen - plenty of fun!Strengths: Rugged materials. Smooth rounded edges. Lots of drawers and spaces to keep little hands busy. Easy assembly. Weakness: Comes in very large box. Couldn't cart it packed so I had to open the box and pack it in pieces in our car so I could take it to her house for an early Christmas gift. But that couldn't be helped. Even though it states 2+ years, my 18 month old grand daughter LOVED this. She's been busy all day playing with it, cooking for us all! It comes with a play phone and that alone kept her busy for about an hour. It was fun to watch her play with this.

Good itemStrengths: unbreakable Weakness: plastic material I bought this item for my son. He loves cooking and prepare meals with this kitchen set.
