Everyday Photo paper is great

I have purchased and used many boxes of HP Everyday Photo Paper(4x6 w/tab). It is inexpensive and its surface gives high quality, brilliant, quick drying prints. I find the paper to be just the right thickness, not too thick - not to thin. I'm not sure why it has the 1/2" tab but I don't find it to be any bother. I frequently trim many of my prints anyway and keep a small, inexpensive paper...

I frequently trim many of my prints anyway and keep a small, inexpensive paper tirmmer handy for that purpupose. I have purchased HP Advanced Photo paper which is more expensive but actually prefer the Everyday paper.

Junk Paper

This paper is marketed as 4x6 but really is 41/2x6 with no snap off tab. Junk Paper I would not recommend this HP photo paper be purchased

Flawed product

I bought a pack of this, can find no evidence of a tab on the paper. No perforations, no line on front or back. Complete mystery. Useless product. Avoid.

Great for scrapbooking!

This paper prints beautifully -- the colors are very bright and true! The picture quality is surprising for an inexpensive paper. For these reasons, and because it is a thinner paper, I recommend it highly for scrapbooking. An additional good feature for scrapbooking is the paper's finish, which is satin with a little texture. This greatly works in your favor because if your photo's resolution isn't too good (a little blurred or grainy), the finish helps to mask these imperfections. You have to wait a little longer for the ink to dry on this paper (and you can always cut the tabs off), but for the money, it's a quality everyday paper! (P.S.--I don't really understand the reason for the tab -- perhaps it is intended as an area to hold the picture to eliminate fingerprints? I think it would serve a better purpose if the tab edge emerged out of my printer first so I could grab it to pull the picture from my printer tray.)
