So far so good
I haven't used up the whole spindle yet but the 27 I've used so far to create a data disk of my photos for my daughter's 3rd grade class all burned without a problem. Sony DVD-Rs have always been great for me. I usually buy the ones with the white top/ink

This disc is stated ...
This disc is stated compatible for recorders using a 1-16X speed. I tried to record on my Sony RDR-VX500 which is a max. of 8X. Doesn't work. *8X is between 1 and 16 isn't it. What a waste of $50.
